oh too late now geez --- I searched almost all day again and only got 1 swag point again - how do you accumulate anything?

For anyone having trouble understanding the codes from hunts, there is a blog that is being talked about on the facebook wall that breaks down and describes each step of the code , after the code has expired of course .
Since posting a live code will get your account terminated.

If there is a code out and you are lost as to where to look , the best place to look for clues is on the swagbucks/facebook wall .
No one can tell you where the code is but they will try to give you hints on the wall to help direct you to the code.
Or if you have any swagbucks questions , there are lots of people there that will try to help you out .
TSG ( The Swag Guy ) reads & posts on the wall, so he might even be the one answering your question.
I'm not an expert on any of this and have been learning how to do it as I go along .
I'm definetely not a tekkie, so any tech questions , someone on the board can help you with.
Also a good hint that there is a code out , if you haven't checked your swidget , is that you will see everyone thanking TSG on the swag wall.

If you don't have a swidget to check for a code, the best thing to do is find one on someone elses blog and add it to your favorites so you can check it quickly throughout the day when online.
If you again go to the swagbucks/facebook wall link above and click on discussions, then click on blogs, you can find someone blog there to bookmark and use .

Sorry, just read your post from last night .

When I downloaded my swidget when it first came out , I put it on Facebook ( shows up under your profile page )
Easier for me there , so I could bounce back to swag wall if needed clues as to where to find a code.
I now just bookmarked a blog from a friend of mine that has a swidget on it and put it in my favorites , so I just click that to check for codes thoughout the day.

To check for a code on the Swidget ( swagbucks widget ) you need to click on the letters SC down the bottom of swidget.
Next page will show a blue box in middle that says check and see if swag code.
Click that and it will tell you if there is a code available or not.
There can be a code that is posted on the swidget or ot will give you a clue as to where there is a code , if one is available.

Swidget will be the quickest way to see if there is a code and where to get it , so everyone should get one or borrow someone elses from their blog.

Codes can be posted on the swidget

On the toolbar ( red envelope that says from TSG ) - if there is a code it will be in a message from TSG

Twitter will have codes posted there also- usually short codes for more points- there was a 3 point code for 5 minutes the other day

Emails from swagbucks will have a code down the bottom of the page

Codes can also be found posted on facebook ( lots of times on one of the dicussion pages ) but can also be just in a post from TSG.

Codes can also be on youtube

There are feeds to twitter/ facebook /youtube , etc right from the swagbucks home page .
Just click and it will take you there - you do not have to be a member of all of these to go there to find a code.

Not really as hard as it sounds.
After you do it a few times it gets much easier.
The search points are given out randomly , so you never know what you will get or if you will get one.
Codes aren't all that complicated most of the times.
The swag code hunts usually take a little longer .
Half the time the actual code will be right on the swidget , swagbucks blog, the toolbar , facebook & you just have to take the code & put it in the code box and hit gimme to get the points.
Thats why it's impotant to have a swidget to let you know if code is available, if code not posted on there , there will be a clue , so you know where to go to find it .
Once you get the right direction to head in , then you know where to go and if you still can't find it , go to the swagbucks/facebook wall and read the clues they are given there .
That always helps me out if I'm stumped.
Getting the extra points from the codes helps alot , since the searches are random .
