Baked potatoe bags

Mapeline I seen your post for tater bags and have reserched this idea myself but do you have a simple to use pattern? Please let me know if you have something simple. thanks.....

Thanks ddale88, that is the site I used as a guide. I didn't embroider it, but followed it for an idea.

I saw these at a craft show but was to cheap to buy one. Usually get one for a pattern but she wanted $10.00 or some huge amount for them. (way more than I wanted to pay for a pattern.)
Have you made them and do they work? She said the potatoes would be softer and better.

Yes! I made 5 of them. One for me and 4 for gifts. I tried mine out before doing the others and was happily surprised! The potatoes ARE softer. They are moist and tender - delicious! You can also make it larger and use it for corn on the cob. Basically the same instructions, just watch the time. Haven't tried the corn out yet since it is out of season, but I can swear by the potatoes!

My sister made one for me years ago and I use it all the time. You do not poke the potatoes. They are very soft and fluffy. I'm thinking of making some as gifts now.
