Question What crafts projects are you working on?

Now that the Holidays are over, what projects are you working on?

For me, I have some christmas table runners I want to sew. I found a big table cloth that I will make into the table runners.
Then, I saved my christmas cards I will make them into christmas ornaments.

I want to get a head start on these christmas projects

My craft room! I took over the game room over Christmas break and I'm making it into a vintage style craft room/studio. The walls are painted and all the furniture and my "stuff" is up there, but it's still not quite set up and ready to go, though I did make one project so far, a meaver. You can check out my blog if you want to see it... http://foldedgingham.typepad.com/

Hopefully, I will have the room done in a week or so and then I plan on holding a neighborhood craft class once a month.

Projects for the yr include... a crazy quilt, more little animal creatures like the meaver, dress up clothes for my DS's preschool, finish a rug hooking rug that I started 3 yrs ago!, a few new sets of cloth napkins, and then a homemade gift for each birthday or anniversary in the family(I'm trying to spend less this yr).

Also, if we can get enough people, I still want to do the quilt block exchange on here.

I gave each of my youngest 5 kids scrapbooks that I had created a first page for for each of them. Also gave them a 3 drawer rolling thingy filled w/scrapbooking supplies so we could create scrapbooks together. Only one of the kids was not thrilled with this, until Dad showed him the humongous scrapbook that he kept through his college years about 40 years ago.Now that particular one kid has asked how soon I can help him w/scrapbooking!
I am also working on several sewing projects now that my sweet dh had givne me a new (not extragant, just working) sewing mchine.

I have ornaments to make for craft sales next Christmas season. Scrapbooking but I lost my book so I need a new one. Decorated pillows for my bedroom.

I am turning my living room into a craft room, slowly pushing my son out to his own place.

My dd is getting married, this weekend in fact, and I just finished up the double heart chocolate favors for 120 people, the silk flower bouquets for the bridal party, two ringbearer pillows, a basket for the flowergirl, and a faux fur stole for the bride - who gets married in January - in Buffalo??? After the wedding I have four baby showers, all at the end of March, so it will be blankets all around - the appropriate colors, of course.

I just dragged my sewing machine out of the basement. Needs a good cleaning though. I will be making pillows and baby doll quilts. I had one as a child and always wanted to make some.

I am really behind on my scrapbooking. I hope to start a cat scrapbook soon. I think that will be a really fun project for me.

I am knitting a pair of socks with some red and green hand-dyed sock yarn.
I intended to use it to make a pair for myself to wear for this past Christmas.
But the pattern directions for the heel were so confusing that I had to rip it out
twice and then finally settled on using a different type of heel. My second one
is halfway there now.

I am looking for charities and people who can't afford yarn to donate a lot of
mine to. I have way too much and it is overflowing my craft room into the living room
and hallway.
