Tarpon Springs is one of my favorite places. It's a Greek, sponge diving community...kind of a quiet place, but several things to do. I love wandering around, checking out the shops and finding a nice place to eat. There's a very small museum, boat rides, and sponge diving *expeditions*. Check it out. It's a little north of Clearwater.

| Lucky Dill
We have stayed at a timeshare in Crystal Beach on A-19, south of Tarpon Springs. There is a really neat place to eat called the Lucky Dill at 2800 N. Alternate 19, Palm Harbor. Get a Tampa Bay Times(free) & look for the Lucky Dill's ad. They have various specials throughout the week. Lots of delicious food & desserts at very reasonable prices. Don’t know if you interested in thrift shops, but there is a nice Hospice Resale shop in Tarpon Springs Hospice Resale Shop Enjoy your visit. |
