They are one of the zoo's that 'share' memberships with other zoos, so if you are a member of your local zoo then you get in the Columbus Zoo for free. Other idea is to check the price of a membership for the Columbus Zoo, it may be cheaper than yours at home, so then you could pay here and then go to your zoo at home later free. (You'll need to make sure your local zoo participates in this program) Columbus Zoo also has a waterpark Wyandot Lake, if you're here for a few days you might want to go to both. I think with a membership you get discounted entry to Wyandot Lake. This is a smaller, family oriented, water park. |

You don't see too many discounts to the Columbus Zoo. The only one that I have seen is that there is a booklet just inside the door at my local Kroger (Mt. Vernon, Ohio) that has coupons for area attractions, and there is a buy one get one free adult admission to the Columbus Zoo. I believe that the coupon is good until September. You might want to stop in at a Kroger before heading to the zoo. If you have never been there I think that you will really enjoy it. We think that it is an awesome zoo!

Our zoo membership only gives a 50% discount for Columbus....some are free, others are half off....still a good deal! Plus you are supporting your local zoo! |

If you are a Senior, Tuesdays are half-price admission day. Those in the military can receive a slight discount. Group rates are available for those with 15 or more. There are some more ideas for saving money at the Columbus Zoo on TheAnswerz.com.
