1st time flying experiences...

Well I got a promotion at work and now I have to fly for some training and I have never done that before and let me tell you I will have alot of flying to do in one week. I will have to fly out of our local airport to chicago then to Omaha stay there for 2 days then from Omaha to chicago to MN for 3 days then from MN to Chicago to local airport. My first time 6 flights in 1 week. I am not sure about all this. How about your first time flying experiences.

My first flight was from Philly to San Francisco about 30 years ago, nothing exciting.

To me, the airports and parking are way scarier than any flight I've been on!

Congratulations on your promotion!!

You'll do fine. You'll be a pro after 1 week. LOL What I always do is take a decongestant about an hour before flight time. It helps keep your ears from plugging up during takeoff and landings. Take a carry on with a least a change of clothes and other necessary items in case your bags don't keep up with you. LOL

An aisle seat is nice for stretching out your legs. I always carry something to snack on because you never know how long you could be be delayed. A good book makes the time go by so much faster! You will do fine. I love flying. I always think the most stressful part is before you ever get on the plane!!!

Definitely keep a deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, meds on you in a carry on.

My first flight was 33 years ago on our honeymoon. We went to visit my sil in Texas from Wisconsin. We drove down with them but flew back. It was not the best flight. We got stuck in Chicago and a lot of movement of the plane. Now I fly all the time because I have one son in TX and another in Chicago and family in WI.
