Where are you staying in Hawaii, which island. You can go snorkeling, hiking, take a boat ride, etc... You will find lots to so on your own. When you say you are on a budget, is his company paying for dinner? We found it best to eat our big meal at lunch time because it was cheaper. Let us know which island so we can be more specific!

Sorry to leave out such a detail...lol

We will be in Oahu, and the company is paying for meals up to a certain amount (not sure of the amount yet)

Oahu Revealed - Links We got the book by this author when we went to Kauai and I highly recommend it. It really had some great tips! I have not been to Oahu so I can't recommend things to do or eat. We stayed in a condo for 7 days and a hotel for 2 days. I actually brought some things for us to eat and drink in our suitcase to cut down on cost. On our island there was a Walmart which was nice and lots of fast food restaurants too if you don't want to spend a lot eating out. When do you leave?

We stayed at the Marriott on Waikiki Beach and the fish tacos in the hotel restaraunt were awesome!

We are visiting Kauai in late July and will be bringing a senior citizen with us. Can you suggest some "must see/do" activities and give some recommmendations for restaurants?
