Need idea for gift for a family in Denmark

My husband and I will be traveling to Co*******n and have set up a meeting with a family from the area (this is through the tourist board, so we don't know them). Any ideas on what they would like? I live in NC so I'm thinking something to do with one of our sports teams. I don't know much about them except they like sports, politics, and health. And it can't be too big or delicate because I have to fly there .

Thanks to everyone!

Is there anything unique that's made locally? When I travel abroad I like to take things made close by or at least in the USA. I took Zippo lighters one time, and for a child I took a *Wooly Willie* which is made in a teeny tiny toy factory that I used to work at. I do think your idea of something sports related is a good idea! I wouldn't take wine or chocolate...Europeans seem to be pretty particular about those.

You might want to PM linnybop. Her family spent some time over there. She will know what they would like and what is hard to get while you live over there.

A book about North Carolina with nice big pictures might be good. When our friends from Germany come they like getting a bottle of RainX, he loves it and he is not been able to find it over there. Perhaps a good BBQ sauce that you could show them how to cook a meal with or something along those lines.
