Yellowstone park

We will be visiting Yellowstone Park this summer and will only have a day or two.
Do you have any tips, suggestions, or ideas to make the most of our time?
Thanks!

I would try to stay in the park. Remember to book many months in advance because the spots fill up quickly. You will have a great time. Bring your binoculars and if you bring a camera make sure you have something with a lot of zoom!!

Yellowstone is shaped like a figure 8. When we went about 4 years ago, we stayed in the park and did one loop one day and the other loop the next day. It is beautiful with lots of wildlife.

Each loop can take a full day if you take your time and really enjoy it (but it doesn't have to). We took our own food and found places to picnic for lunch. We also stopped and did hikes along the way. Just watch out for the bison.

We loved it and want to go back (just too many other things to do 1st before we do 2nds!)

I am from wyoming and it is a great place to see. You will love it. There is a lot of long trails that you can walk on but if you are in a hurry you can see most everything from the road and from the close up trails. Old faithful has some intresting trails and is a great place to spend some time at. I agree that it is nice to stay at least one night in the park. Jackson is a really neat town with a lot of shops to look at and some good places to eat at. But is very packed in the summer. Have a great time. It is very beautiful!!!!!
