Hi All!

I was just reading an article on the worlds longest yard sale that runs along US 127 from Ohio all the way to Alabama. It's the first weekend of August.

I first heard about this even several years ago and have always wanted to go and this year I have the vacation time and can actually do it if I choose. So, has anyone here been to it? Sell at it? Live near it? Have any advice?

Tell me anything and everything, good and bad. I know it'll be crowded and stinking hot, I can deal with both those things. Help me decide! Thanks!!

We live very close and usually do a few miles each year. Parking is usually okay, at least when we have been there. It is HOT!!! Bring water, sunscreen and a hat. You have to pick and choose where to stop or it would take more than the few days it is open. Some spots are more like flea markets and some are just like other yard sales. Some areas have a bunch of different sales in the one area and some are just one person holding a yard sale. It can be a lot of fun. Restrooms are few and far between. Stop when you can as it may e a long stretch to another one. If you have an questions, ask here or you can PM me.
