| . Dateline: Tuesday, 10/20/2009, Big K (a 24 / 7 store), Brooklyn, OH. + 2 liters of the good doctor were on sale for $1.00 each. 12 packs on sale, 3 for $9.00. + A large poster on a pole at the Dr Pepper display mentioned the mail-in rebate offer but noooo mail-in rebate forms were to be found. Not even remnants of a tear pad. ![]() There was also a sweepstakes tie-in mentioned. + For the mail in rebate offer ($5.00 Kmart gift card), the poster did mention a postmarked date of: Monday, 11/02/2009 + $6.00 = six 2 liters at $1.00 each $5.00 = KMart gift card via mail-in rebate ========================== $1.00 = for six 2 liters 16’ each Sweeet! (Just like Dr Pepper at 28mg of sugar per 8 ounce serving.) + At the checkout I was hoping for a Catalina coupon to print out for the rebate form. One did not print out so I boogied to the Customer Service Desk. They were aware of the situation du jour and, at first, were going to issue me a $5.00 KMart gift card. They made a call and they were instructed to have me call back tomorrow when the Dr Pepper rep would be in the store, It is probably not a Catalina coupon printout. + That $5.00 KMart gift card will come in handy during KMart's next double coupon event. + Terence in Brook Park, oHIo |

| From the You mess with the bull you get the horns Department
+ Right now, I am looking at one dead President and one dead 1st United States Secretary of the Treasury A $5.00 bill A $10.00 bill + Long story short, out friends (or is it fiends) at KMart gave me $15.00 for my trouble from not being able to secure three $5.00 mail-in rebate forms. I did not have to do anything but to politely ask to speak to the store manager. I like the good doctor so much that I made three separate purchases. Each purchase was six 2-liter bottles of Dr Pepper for $6.00. + Better than $15.00 in KMart gift cards! Cash is King! Cash is King! Cash is King! + For sentimental reasons I then boogied back to the Dr Pepper display Still $1.00 each. The sign on the pole is still up mentioning the mail-in rebate offer. Purchased and postmarked by: Monday, 11/02/2009. + Terence in Brook Park, oHIo |
