| Dateline: Northeastern, OH ... Friday, February 5, 2010: + My Staples' Rewards check arrived in the mail today. $129.90. Which means I purchased two sets of 20 batteries in five different weeks for a total of ten packages at $12.99 each. Wooopie! + One week I am pretty sure that I used two 75¢ manufacturer's cents of coupons (a major production since it has to be the very last part of your transaction, otherwise it will not work). So, with a total of $129.90, it looks like the $1.50 deduction did not reduce the amount of the Rewards (I suspected it would not since once the Rewards item is scanned and you pay for the Rewards' item, you have earned its advertised Rewards dollar amount). At one Staples they would not accept them claiming that is will invalidate the Rewards offer. I also called Staples' toll free Customer hotline number and was told that Staples does not accepts manufacturers' cents off coupons! Q) Huh? + Terence in Brook Park, oHIo Last edited by TerryTerrific; 02-06-2010 at 02:49 PM. |
