Ten or eleven years ago, I joined MyCoupons under the name redrhino. (Don't ask me why, I never used it for anything else!) I'd be pretty surprised - but stoked - if anyone actually remembered me. I think when I joined at 19, I was one of the youngest regular couponers.

I stuck with couponing through college, then while building my small business and during my first years of owning a home. Then, I didn't need it anymore. I was doing well financially and could usually shop at the nice organic grocers. Yum.

Well, the economy is rocky now, and I'm struggling to pay my mortgage and I realize it is time to revist this particular hobby. I would guess that the last year I did any significant couponing was 2003. Is there anyone who has been around who can summarize what has changed?

I'm in Oregon - I see that winetags are mostly rebates for the wine itself now, and don't believe there's many doubling opportunities. Any help in getting back to it all would be very useful. I make too much to qualify for any sort of assistance (it all goes to my crazy mortgage), but not enough to keep my cabinets and fridge well stocked without a little extra effort toward frugality.

Wish I could remember my password for redrhino. I'm sure I don't have the same email address anymore, but it would be nice to have the old account back. Even though the name sucked.
