| FYI on the Free Seattle's Best Iced Latte Coupons
I went to Randalls this evening & I did call before I went. The manager told me that they had the Seattle's Best Iced Latte Coffees & that they were 4/$5 ($1.25 ea.) When I got to Randalls, They had them by the 4pk. with the sign saying 4/$5 & off to the side it said $1.25 each. So, I'm thinking ok, $1.25 each....... Free cpn states - Free Single can up to $1.79 When I get to the register, They ring up as $25.00, Ok..... So I tell the cashier that I have these Free cpns & she tells me I can't use them on the 4pk. it has to be on the single cans. I looked at her like, REALLY ? So I told her, I have (20) cans & that the sign states, 4/$5..... $1.25 EACH ! She says AGAIN, But these are the 4pks. So the cpns can't be used !!! OMG !!!! She calls the manager over & I explain to him, about the sign & he too says but these are not singles, these are 4pks !!! So, he is willing to charge me (Why, I don't know) $1.25 per 4pk !! Which mean't I would have paid $6.25 for the (20) cans but still would not have been able to use the FREE cpns. I'm thinking... Are these guys REALLY THIS DUMB !! I told him that I want them free like the cpns says ! Can't you just ring up $1.25 20 times ?!!! Then scan my Free cpns ?!! He finally says, Lets open the 4pk & see if they scan $1.25 individually. DUH !!!! The sign does say.... $1.25 EACH !!! And Low & Behold !!! They ring up $1.25 each !!!! OMG !! After 15 mins !!! UGH !!!! So................... If you can't find the SINGLE CANS, Ask about breaking the 4pks & scanning them as singles !!! Randalls is the only place I found them at. Good Luck ! |

Yeah, I called Seattle's Best & asked them what stores here sold them. He asked for my zip code & he told me Randalls, Target & Walmart but I called Walmart & they said no. Try calling Borders but make sure they actually go check. I just don't know why they would include cpns. in our local papers if the product isn't sold locally or is very hard to find. Hmmmm. But I got lucky. Hope everyone else has good luck with these !

I have never, ever seen a store break up packaging as sent from the manufacturer. I often see stores do math for you on deals like this. The sign was just stating the price both ways to make it easier for the customer: 4 for $5 / $1.25 each A common one is 2 items packed together, I've never been able to use 2 coupons, only 1. I think you got very lucky the manager broke up the package since they were to be sold as a 4 pack. dl |

First - I have seen them in at least one Rite Aid and a couple CVS (and others that had spots for them but none there) so those are other places to check if anyone is still looking for them. A second Rite Aid I checked didn't have any singles in the cooler, but happened to have a couple 4 packs where the cardboard was already broken so a can could be pulled out - I did that just to check at the price checker to see (didn't buy it) and it did scan for $1.59 for the single so it looks like they are the same cans, just packed into the 4 pack. If it's programmed in the store's register to ring up singly (as it was in this store and the one mentioned above) and the manager is willing to do so (which he was), it seems that's their option - I know a couple stores around here did that with the Marcal single roll toilet tissue when those had the free coupons a while back since they'd run out of the singles - they'd just open the packs that had 20 or so individually wrapped rolls in them (now with those they had to have a code, since the rolls in the multipacks weren't printed with one). Perhaps these are even supposed to be that way - just get all 4 pks and open them as needed to limit overstocking of one or the other? Or maybe it's just easier not to make two different cans, one with a code for singles, one without for mutipacks? |
