Does Family Dollar & Dollar General accept coupons? If so, do they limit them in any way? Thanks for your help!

Yes, they both take coupons.
I don't think I have ever seen a post where someone was limited.
I have only used a couple there, so can't say for sure on limits

I haven't been to Family Dollar, but I haven't had any trouble at Dollar General. Recently I've purchase over 80 tubes of Colgate at Dollar General (about 30 at a time) with coupons for all of them. All I had to pay was the tax and they didn't say a word.

I use them at Dollar General. I'm sure it's just my store but I have to put the coupon next to each item so they can check and make sure I'm buying the right item. I didn't do this the first time and I had to take the items out of the bag and show them to her. She read the coupon (word for word), then looked at the item again. It's a pain, but when I can get free toothpaste and cleaning products for .50 it's worth it. I use to have problems buying trial size things (think $1/3 kraft for the 4pks of chips ahoy). First it was "chips ahoy aren't Kraft", so I turn the coupon over and showed her they were listed. Then "you can't use it on the small 4pks", so I showed her it said any. By this time there was a long line, and she knew I was going to stand there as long as it took so I got the "I'll let you do it this time but...". So I went to the grocery store picked up more kraft coupons and went back the next day and made sure I got in her line. She didn't say anything, she just took them. After that she has never said anything, she just reads the coupons and checks the items I'm buying. I did mess up once (out of the dozens of times I've used coupons there) and only bought 1 baking soda and the coupon was off 2 (didn't notice it was off 2 I was in a hurry). She very nicely said "This coupon is off 2 would you like to get another one"? They know me there now and know I will argue as long as I have to. They now know what "off any" means when it's on a coupon.

Both Family Dollar and General Dollar accept my coupons.

I seldom use them at either place, because my grocery doubles unlimited up to 50¢, but I do use other coupons there, occassionally.

Never had any trouble at Family Dollar, but of my 2 General Dollars, one takes them w/no problem and the other is like my Walmart...they act like you are stealing from them ( "that's not what the picture shows"...etc.).
Guess which one gets my business? lol
