I was wondering if any stores in Iowa double coupons. I live in north central iowa but would be willing to travel to get some good deals. If you know of any could you list name and city. Thanks, Michellle

I live in SE Iowa too. The only one I can think of is Eagle Country Market in Iowa City doubles coupons. I have never made the trip up there yet, but one of these days I want to.

Sometimes Hy-Vee and Econo's will have double days, usually only 2 days. Econo's had triples ONCE. I figured they would start doubling or something once Super Walmart came to town this year, but no luck so far.

I live in SE Iowa too. The only ones I know of are in Mt Pleasant. Hy-Vee and Dave's Super-Valu both double coupons up to 50 cents, everyday.

Wow!!! I never knew about Mt. Pleasant, that is a lot closer than Iowa City. Do they limit the number of coupons you can use at a time (our HyVee only let you use 10 coupons per visit).

In NE Iowa - K & S Super Value in Decorah has double coupons on Tuesday. They double up to $1. I just found out about this a month or so ago. I live in Lansing and my sisters and I usually try to make it over there every Tuesday. Each time I've gone I've cut the bill about in half. It is so much fun. They are the only one in my area. I live 45 minutes from LaCrosse, WI and no stores up there double. I can't believe with all the grocery stores they have that none of them double.

I don't know if there's a limit of coupons at Dave's Super-Valu, but there is no limit on number of coupons at Hy-Vee, but only up to 50 cents. Even with only 50 cents, you can still get some great deals! If you have a Hy-Vee coupon from their ad/flyer, you can still use a mfg. coupon, they double it, and sometimes you get things free/almost free.

We need to start this debate again as it isn't easy to just Google. Are there any places in Iowa/Western Il that Double coupons? The closest one that I have found is in Humseton IA and they don't have a website to let me know when they are having double coupon day. There is a Kroger in Sterling IL that I need to call, but their prices aren't any cheaper than here, it would only be worth the trip if they doubled coupons.

Occasionally K-Mart & Pamida offer doubles for a week...KMart needs a Shop Your Way Card...My closest Pamida is 50 miles, so I've never been...sign up for their emails for notification...I am in the QCA and remember fondly doubles at Eagle, JoeVan, PharMore, Venture, and other stores long gone.

I live in Cedar Rapids and I don't know of any here, BUT has anyone checked into Walgreens?? I know that they have a monthly saver club thing too, but I haven't done that in years and didn't use many coupons at the time.

Has anyone found out about the Eagles in Dubuque? or others?

Hy-Vee in Mt. P does NOT double coupons and hasn't for years. Daves Supervalue is no longer in business and its location is the new police department.

The closest place I have found that doubles coupons is Economart in Columbus Junction and Jack & Jill in Wapello. They double up to $1.00 on Tuesdays. They have great Friday and Saturday specials and has Our Family products that you can print coupons from their website.
