| Have been out of the couponing loop for almost 10 months - need help please :)
Hi! I have not used any coupons since about 2 months before I moved overseas (had to use up some stockpile) and I haven't even seen any coupons for 8 months now. We are moving back to the States (AL, but can also possibly shop in FL and MS) and I would like to know which coupons are currently out that are 'hot'or 'musthaves'. I prefer high value coupons or coupons that will get me free / close to free items, since I have to start from scratch with both my coupons and my stockpile. We have both a dog and a cat so anything you can think of would be great. I am NOT asking for RAOKs or anything like that, but at the moment I have NO clue whatsoever which coupons are out there. Oh, if you can think of anything that will be a great deal at the Commissary that would be awesome too! Thank you for any info you are willing to share! Irenea ireneageorge@hotmail.com

Hi ireneageorge and welcome back to the states. I would have been happy to send you some coupons while you were overseas if I had known you needed some. I just sent a friend 5 of the flat rate boxes a week or so ago. I have a question out of curiousty. I know overseas you are allowed to use expired coupons but is it only at the commisary? Also can you use expired coupons at the commisarys in the states and if so for how long after they expire. Thank You. Betty

Welcome back! I think it would be a good idea to check taylorown and see what coupons are listed there for the last few weeks. It would give you an idea of what is out and you can make a trading list from it. http://www.taylortownpreview.com/id17.htm |

Thanks for all of the 'welcome backs' guys! We are actually moving back on the 2nd!!! I've been going through tons of coupon lists trying to find what may be a good deal for me and putting together my coupon wishlist. I am feeling soooo overwhelmed though!I don't know how the prices in AL compare to NM, so items I used to get for free / next to free may be different. My hubby is already in AL and he picked up 5 copies of this past sunday's paper for me. At least I'll have something to put into my coupon binder. Irenea ireneageorge@hotmail.com

Be sure to check out www.militaryshoppers.com to see what is "on sale" at the commissary. They do take internet printed coupons, too, just not for a FREE item (says get this free on the coupon). As others have stated, I'm sure it will take you no time at all to get right back up to speed. Welcome back.
