Creative places to find room for your stockpile

We live in a very tiny house as of now and I am running out of room to stockpile (we have no basement!) I'd love to hear some creative places you have come up with to put your items .

Well, most of what I buy goes in the pantry (we have a large closet pantry), but anything cleaning related goes in the laundry room up on the shelf.

Like Heather one place we store is under beds. I have 3 rubbermaid under the bed storage containers under my bed. I could probably fit another if I needed to.

One year we had the top of our fridge covered with Kelloggs cereals.

I store most items in the closet. But for items that I don't use up as often, I store them in overhead storage racks (racks attached to the ceiling) in the garage.

I keep plastic or paper products on shelves in our attatched garage.

I read that you can stack bathroom tissue behind a bedroom door that is always open.
No one sees it unless they go inside and close the door.

Creative...or crazy?
I use our china cabinet. I emptied it out one day to sell it and before I knew it, I started filling it up with cereals, granola bars, crackers, etc! The top half has glass doors and it's funny to see the 'double take' from people when they see it. And even funnier when I save someone a trip to the store! Cheers!

Do you remember the round wooden tables you could put together, put a tablecloth on and use for an end table or a bedside table? Using that idea,on a similar topic like this before, I read someone got metal trash cans put a wooden top on them. They used these for extra storage.

Hi All,
We live in a 100 year old farm house with a total of three closets, so I've had to be creative when storing stuff. My main storage is my pantry I built. It was basically a landing to go down to the basement. I hired some guys to frame it and move an outside door over and now I have a 7'x 4' pantry. I also had them move the back porch door over 8" to line up with the inside door, that gave me a 16" deep coat closet with two shelves on top and 6 shelves on the sides. When we remodeled my daughters room she had a closet under the stairway, it had a tiny walk thru door into the bathroom that we never used so we closed it off. That left us with a door that goes no where in the bathroom, so I made a medicine cabinet out of it. I took 1x4" pieces of wood and made shelves. It works great. When the door is closed you'd would never know its a medicine cabinet. I collect alot of antiques so I use those when I can. I have an old 6 tin pie safe in the kitchen I use for bathroom stuff. I have a collection of yellowware bowls on a shelf that I use for the little light bulbs and batteries.

wow, this is funny to me because I too have cereal and snacks in the china cabinet. And one day my landlord came over and he when he saw all the food. Or maybe it was packs of tissue stacked in corner about 4 feet high. My neice came over and got about 4 packs of tissue ,cereal, salad dressing, barbeque sauce, syrup, and 10 2 liters of coca-cola.

I also store soaps in my dresser drawer with my clothes. Under the dresser and couch are other good places. Or in the closet on the floor.
