Unhappy Herbal Essences mani/pedi issue

My 2 Herbal Essences Mani/Pedi vouchers FINALLY showed up today! It said 4-6 weeks and it took 10!
I tried to call them, but they passed the buck by saying it was a 3rd party taking care of it. I asked for the 3rd Parties number but they would not give that out. They said all I could do was email Clairol. I did that but I also called the Clairol corporate # to complain and they did send me out a free product coupon for my inconvenience. That showed up before the vouchers arrived!

Now I go online to see where I can use them and it says I have to call the concierge to get a venue location in my area. I called them and they only have 2 in my state. One is 2 hours away and 1 is 2 1/2 hours away. I live in a pretty populated area, so I am a bit surprised. I am within 30 miles of a pro football team, but can't get a manicure place!
They told me they would have to call me back with a location I can use it at. That will take about 5 days! What a hassle!!!!

I read the terms and conditions on the voucher (which by the way you do not these terms until you actually receive the voucher, these are different than the ones on the site when you print out the original forms) and you can only use it at the same salon once! So now I have to find 2 salons in my area. It is rather annoying because they let us get 2 vouchers per person, but now I have to see if there are actually 2 places I can redeem them at. WOW.

Sorry this is so long, but I just wanted to let ya know what you may be in for!

OK, I just called again because not being able to use both my vouchers at the same place was really bothering me. Now this CS agent tells me that you can use them both, it just has to be one month apart from each other! OK, now it just sounds like they are making up rules as they go along!!!!
The voucher states in #5:
The bearer of this voucher may not use another TLC beauty treatment voucher in conjunction at the same venue.
The CS agent said that there are other promos out there besides this one, so you can't use 2 different promos at the same store, but I can use both my vouchers, just one month apart. Wow, I don't think I would have ever gotten that from the wording in the terms and conditions.
I guess I have to see what happens in 5 days when they call with the location. Maybe they will change what that wording means again by then!!!!!

I think TLC Marketing is handling this...I did a promotion they handled once and it was a real mess! I was supposed to get 2 free hotel nights. I requested the nights and they NEVER got back to me with which hotel it was. By the time I got a hold of people, who worked there, the deal expired but they said they would extend it...Then when I tried to use the extension..they said they never heard of an extension. ... That they were not able to extend it and whoever told me that was wrong!

They def. seemed like they were making rules up as they went. So irritating! I never did get my free hotel nights. I did this mani pedi offer so I won't hold my breath that there is any good outcome with this group managing it!

I received only one voucher while I had submitted for two, as the limit was two per household.
I called them to complaint but CSR said that she will email it to promotional dept. and will take two weeks before they decide whether you will get another one or not. I don't even have any copy to prove that I had submitted for two vouchers.

OK, the Herbal Essances "Concierge" never called me back when they were supposed to, so I called them. They do have a salon near me, but I have to make the appointment through them. They said they had a misunderstanding with the salons and most won't accept the vouchers because they think they won't get paid. They have to call and make the appointment because they have to guarantee payment to the salon! At least I will still get them, but what a hassle!

I got these to use for stocking stuffers for a couple of my daughters. We have NO location around here, I will have to call and find one and all the extra hassle. I guess out best bet on this bunch of rebates is to let HE know how we feel. I'm upset as my girls don't have time to hunt around and then call someone else to set up their appointment and pray it is during a time that they can go.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
