I"m trying to set one up myself. I have set up an Excel spreadsheet that I print off and carry in my binder. So far I have the items size (if need be), the price and I usually put down the regular price. I have a column for each sgtore that I shop in. As I buy an item I add th eprince into the book and when I am at the other stores I look at the price and jot it down to be added in.

I 'cut out the middleman' by not keeping a price book. + Instead, I am able to keep prices in my noggin. Also, when I checkout, I have an uncanny ability to know what the ballpark out-of-pocket will be, within a dollar or two. I do this by rounding all items up to the nearest dollar. If the total is not in my estimated range, I make sure that they did not overcharge me before leaving the store. + Terence in Brook Park, oHIo |

I have a price book, and I use excel. Somewhere online I found some people had posted to show how they do theirs, and I copied what I liked and modified it to suit me. I should update it now that I've moved, but it really is time consuming.... Kaycee |
