Press Release
MyCoupons Activates Web & Wireless Based Coupon Editor for Businesses
Written: 10 Sep 2001
Pittsburgh, PA - September 10, 2001 - DirectStuff.com, Inc (DSI), the parent of MyCoupons today announced that it has released a new B2B application targeted at simplifying and reducing the costs of constructing, distributing and tracking coupons.
The MyCoupons Advertising Network offers a convenient solution that allows both local and national merchants to author, publish, and monitor their promotions with ease. The product presents two publishing options whereby merchants can embed coupons in their own web pages and newsletters, as well as distribute the coupons to millions of potential customers who frequent MyCoupons and it's affiliate sites. This program helps merchants reach their customers more quickly and more efficiently.
"We've solved a real market need stemming from the 'anytime, anywhere, anyway' dilemma facing marketers today," says MyCoupons founder and President Jason Wolfe. "Our web or wireless console permits merchants to author coupons on the fly which can then be viewed by consumers in an equally flexible manner. There are billions of wasted dollars annually in the coupon industry due to production fees, and reaching the consumer at the wrong time. Our product cuts through that fat and is more efficient to produce and more accessible to the consumer.
Etalinc.com, a privately owned Marketing Firm located in NY was thrilled to find a service like mycoupons.com. "The click throughs to redeems for some clients are as high as 45%. I've never see that in a banner advertisement, says president, Pattie Dillon.
"Other companies have attempted to explore variations of this product," explains Craig Campbell, director of business development, "but have fallen short." "They have not provided a tool for both local and national merchants. The digital publishing software has not been tied to a large enough consumer network. And, they have not provided the aggressive features such as placement bidding, end-to-end tracking, security, private labels, wireless, and tell-a-friend e-mail."
